FIGHTING AGAINST FORCED/CHILD LABOUR IN SUPPLY CHAINS REPORT
ActionsOn January 1, 2024, the new Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (the Act) came into effect, mandating Canadian companies that meet certain criteria to publish an annual report describing their corporate policies and due diligence related to forced labour and child labour. The Act’s intent is to increase industry awareness, and transparency, and drive businesses to improve practices.
Neepawa-Gladstone Co-op is committed to identifying potential child and forced labour risks within our supply chains and implementing policies and guidelines to address and reduce these exploitative practices.
